Retail Box Design

As the first official thing I can publically show off concerning my life at VALVe, I am very proud to show you the promotional poster design and box designs of Day of Defeat. Day of Defeat (as all you good gamers know) is one of the latest mods for Half-Life and has just very recently become officially released. My part in all that illustration is the creation of the old WWII-era style poster, complete with aging, fold marks, stains and tape marks. This contains screen shots from the game, as this is the promotional poster that will be used in the gaming stores to garner interest. My original (and the original specs of the poster) were more in line with a true propaganda poster of that time.
