Mere Scratchings...

I have many sketches that usually never get to the coloring stage, but instead tend to become more of an inspiration for later works. I hear a lot about how different my final colors turn out from my original sketch, which for the most part is true. There are many details the sketches show and many they do not. Most of the texture, color and lighting information for a color work is in my head, so oddly enough, any picture you see that isn't shaded in usually has a better chance at being colored.
